even though the quoted line itself doesn’t make any special sense, i love the way the weeknd sings it in “the party and the afterparty”. plus he’s playing at pitch festival amsterdam/nl next month and i’m really doubting about going because the tickets are quite pricy. but on the other side, when is he coming to europe again? in the meanwhile i’m still hooked on his bittersweet ‘drugs and women’-overloaded mixtape tracks.

now playing. this track is still strong even though drake re-used these lyrics on ‘i’m on one’ w/ ome khaled. gotta love 40’s dark yet slick production anyway. plus this song is a great ‘soundtrack’ since i just left my gf half an hour ago and am already missing her. you gotta have whiny r&b tracks sometimes!
